As mentioned earlier, Google is one tool to use in your literature search, but not the only one. The SJSU Library has a fantastic collection of electronic databases that you need to become familiar with. Let's take a look at very useful one for engineering, Engineering Village 2.
For your convenience, on the next screen Engineering Vilage 2 will load in the right frame. Follow the direction in the left frame to practice searching. Note: If you are accessing this tutorial remotely, you may need to enter your name, SJSU ID and Pin on the next page to launch Engineering Village 2.
(In the future, you can access Engineering Village 2 through the Library's Academic Gateway web page by clicking on the link labeled ‘Databases' under the heading, “Find Articles & More”. Then click on the letter, ‘E' in the horizontal alphabetical list, and click on the link for ‘Engineering Village 2'. )
